Once I saw a spider
crawl
A tenuous labour across
the wall
And then again on
bended knee
An ant its load did
pace the tree.
A winged flight across
the breeze
Bright crimsons, purple
peas
On blossoms sumptuous,
coloured seas
A dip, a sip, her
wings; doth sway and tease.
Across the vale, all
jade, all pine
Azure and gold, all
shimmer, shine.
A lone cloud flirts in
gossamer fine
Ah bliss! Heaven! This
day divine.
