These tears are shaken
From the wrath-bearing tree
~ T. S. Eliot

"The kind of normal where we go traveling, we go to restaurants, we go to concerts, we go to religious services, we go on cruises, until we have a vaccine that protects everyone. That's 18 months, it's not going to be sooner," Dr. Zeke Emanuel

The era of sitting comfortably in large numbers in pews, plush or otherwise is over. This is the new revelation.
The new “normal”.

Irrespective of what our faith is, or not, irrespective of which part of the globe we are in, one thing is abundantly clear.

Valar Morghulis.
All men must die.

What we do before we do, die that is, is now up to us.
Do we continue with the status quo?
Do we continue to pretend or wish that we could turn back the clock and go back to how it all was?

We can try for sure. As can be seen by various groups of people protesting their right to wanting their lives back.
I mean it is understandable. Wanting things to be the way it always was.

But it can’t. It won’t. As much as we want to.

So it brings us back to this.
Valar Dohaeris.
All men must serve.

Are you?
Willing to serve?

Whatever form or shape that might be, one has to understand that one’s life was never meant to be that.
All about me.
It was meant to serve.
And to love.
And to mean something.

So if you feel your life ain’t worth much until now take a long, hard look in the mirror.
And listen to that still, small voice.
And decide.
Where you’re headed from now on.

These tears
Shaken
These tears
The wrath
Wrath
Unfolding
Each one
A price
Measured, unmoving
These tears
All of us
Each one
Ours unending.
