This is my father.

School Headmaster.

State level football player.

Lawyer.

First Kuki IPS officer.

Survived the Japanese Invasion of WW2.

Fought against the Naxals.

Stood up for the family that was being attacked in #Sainbari.

Rallied against the insurgents in the 90s. 

Faced discrimination and bias but still stood his ground. 

Encountered ambushes; chased down lawbreakers with his family in tow, yes that; served his country faithfully over 30 years with the entire fibre of his being.

More integrity in his little finger than anything you can possess in your entire body.

So yes, stand up and speak if you can achieve a fraction of all the tall claims you so openly spew. Don’t hide behind your armed commandos, your pseudo love for the nation, your false bravado, ‘big blow’ and your rabid speech.

This is my father. And no, he nor I, as do countless others, need to prove our Indian-ness, our citizenship to you.
